Nadine G., poet and novelist, was born in Brooklyn, New York. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Syracuse University and received her Master’s degree from New York University. She is of the first generation in her family to attend college. Nadine G. attributes her love of learning and of sharing knowledge to her great-grandmother, daughter of sharecroppers who only received a 4th-grade education. Ever since she was a child, Nadine G. has loved to write, and she wants her life’s work to impact others. Her goal as a writer is to spark necessary conversations. Enterludes is her first published work.

As I'm here working and building, I had to remind my self of how far I have come. I will always remember the week leading up to "Circle of Sisters" 2017. It started of with a beautiful intimate launch with family and friends. Then my elevator broke and I solicited the help of two guy friends and a girl friend to bring hundreds of books and furniture down 6 flights of stairs that needed to get to the Javitz center. I was working on no sleep, but joy overcame my spirit as I talked to people all day and my crew showed up heavy to support. I was surrounded by my own personal circle of sisters. We then had to pack down and bring all this stuff back to my lil apartment and it all began to hit me. The books that were unsold, the stuff I had to unpack. Then I had a delirious cry in the back of the uhaul on the drive home. I was tired and overwhelmed and second guessing why I though this was a brilliant idea. My girls let me cry, then told me how amazing I was for taking this leap and pointing out all the wins... including securing 10 free tickets for my crew to attend a $500pp conference. And here I am 4 years later, still grinding, remembering that for every loss, moment of defeat, and ugly cry, there is a win, joy, love, team, support, and most of all impact.
What's on your wellness checklist for today? This was my goal, and it had been accomplished! Now...my business checklist.... that still has a bit to go tonight....
